Presence at life’s threshold

Explore offerings

At Sacred Haven, I companion individuals and families through the threshold of dying with reverence, compassion, and grace. My work blends the heart of trained doula care with the skill of a hospice-oriented, CHPN-certified nurse; offering support that is both deeply human and professionally grounded. As this work is my ultimate passion, compensation allows me to dedicate myself fully to clients and their families. You can choose to work with me on a hourly basis or through a package listed below. Please know, while payment sustains the practice, I lead first with heart, care, and mindfulness. No one should be without end-of-life support.

About Me

A young woman with long brown wavy hair smiling outdoors with blurred greenery and pink flowers in the background.

My name is Caitlin Leilani Tallungan.

I am honored you are here.

I have spent my career walking alongside people in some of life’s most vulnerable and profound moments over a decade in healthcare.

Serving as a RN in specialties such as emergency, trauma, and hospice (undeniably the work that stole my heart)—I have witnessed both the fragility and powerful resilience of the human spirit. I am a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN), which deepens my ability to bring clarity, comfort, and grounded knowledge to clients and their circle of support navigating end-of-life.

Becoming a doula in this work has been a beautiful process over the course of years — one which I feel is my life calling. I believe that dying—like birth—is not a medical event but a sacred passage. My role is to hold space for presence, dignity, and meaning as you and your circle approach the greatest threshold of life.

I have been trained with International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA), Going With Grace, and Doulagivers. In addition to these partnerships, I am a proud member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA).

Whether through advanced planning, ritual exploration, vigil sitting, legacy projects, or holding heavy moments with a calm presence, I offer care that honors the whole person: body, mind and spirit.

Each individual’s journey is unique and I feel deeply honored to walk beside you. Learn more
